Time relay MMR17-PPC-A230-108 is designed to protect loads (inductive motors) against voltage asymmetry in 3 phase networks. If the assymetry voltage above the adjustable threshold 30…70V lasts longer than detection time 5s, the output relay is switched off. The relay can be recovered to normal operation if asymmetry drops below the threshold for at least 1.2s.
The relay also controls contactor contacts. If asymmetry is detected after the contactor, it means, that the contactor is broken. In this case the relay is permanently switched off. To restore normal operation power off – power on cycle is required.
If the contactor monitoring function is not needed, the V1, V2, V3 inputs can be left unconnected.
